Getting Started
- HELIN Library Catalog The HELIN Catalog identifies library material available to the URI community. To find books, periodical titles, and videos in Art, conduct a Subject search in the catalog using subject headings such as ART BAROQUE. Subheadings such as ITALY or EXHIBITIONS will narrow the search. (Example: ART RENAISSANCE ITALY FLORENCE or ART MODERN 19TH CENTURY.) A Subject search on individual ARTISTS will bring up material on that author. (Example: MONET, CLAUDE.)
- Art Links on the World Wide Web Over 1,200 links to art resources (representing various time periods, cultures, media, and more).
- INFOMINE - Visual and Performaing Arts Scholarly Internet Resource Collection. INFOMINE is intended for the introduction and use of Internet/Web resources of relevance to faculty, students, and research staff at the university level. INFOMINE is librarian built. Over 20 University of California, California State University, and other university and college librarians have contributed to building INFOMINE.
- Art Terms Glossary This short essay on terms used in the study of art includes links to several online art terms glossaries.
