ECN 306: Getting Started

Choosing Your Topic

The first thing to do is to determine what your topic is going to be.  Keep in mind that the research process is a creative process so you may find that a topic that interests you may not have enough information or may take you way out of your field.

Once you have a topic before you dive in to find resources, it's important to have a strategy and to get organized.

The guides and interactive tutorial listed below can help you in selecting a topic and to set up a research strategy.
