Register and Download Zotero
To get started, register for a Zotero account using the link in the upper right, and download the Zotero Desktop app from the Zotero website.

Install the Zotero Connector
To add items from the URI Libraries Search, databases, and the web, you'll need to install the Zotero Connector for your browser. When you download Zotero, you will see the option to add the connector, or you can add it later.
Once it's added, you will see an icon in your browser toolbar that may look like a Z (for Zotero), or it may look like a sheet of paper. Click on this icon any time you see an item you'd like to add to Zotero.
