CEMA was established in 1988. Since that time numerous organizations and individuals have committed to establishing their archives, papers, and other holdings in this program. This new Chicano/Latino arts resource is the result of a multi-year project of the California Ethnic and Multicultural Archives. Included are many works of art such as paintings, murals, art prints, sculptures, drawings and installations.
