Welcome and Search Tips!

This is a guide to selected sources of information on Public Polling available in URI Libraries.  The guide is broken down into tabs:

Reference Resources is where you will find Encyclopedias and Bibliographies to help you get started on your work.  These are all available on the first floor of the Carothers library and located in the reference area.

Poll Compilations offers various compilations from print and internet sources.

Articles & Databases provides you with links to databases.  For more information on searching databases, please visit our Finding Articles guide.

To find additional information, conduct a Subject search in the Library Catalog using the subject headings election forecasting, election forecasting -- United States, consumer behavior, consumer attitudes, public opinion, political attitudes, or public opinion polls.

The menu on the left provides you with hours that librarians are available to help you.  If you need assistance, please feel free to come to the desk, give us a call, or send an IM during these hours.
