This is a brief guide designed to help you find government statistics. If you need further assistance with your Library research please feel free to contact me.

The U.S. Government is the largest producer of statistical data in the world.  Statistics on all fields of knowledge are issued by various government agencies on a regular basis.  Finding statistical data can be difficult.  This guide will help you locate specific kinds of government data.  To navigate the guide, explore the yellow subject tabs near the top of this page.  The General Statistical and Demographic Data tab will bring you to standard statistical resources like the U.S. Census.  The other tabs provide more specific statistics by subject area.
