This guide is an introduction to selected sources of information on Journalism Research available at URI. It describes types of materials and provides selected items in each category.

To find additional book information, conduct a subject search in the library catalog using subject headings such as: Journalism; Journalist; News Media; Radio and Television Broadcasting; Mass Media; Photojournalism; and Investigative Reporting.  When searching the library catalog, entries for items owned by the University of Rhode Island Libraries appear at the top of the list and include information about location and availability.  The Library of Congress Subject Headings will help identify appropriate terms.
