Books, including some government publications, are loaned to borrowers for 28 days.
Faculty and graduate students receive a 120-day loan.
The book(s) to be borrowed and a validated University ID card or a Rhode Island Resident Card are given to the circulation attendant who charges the book out. The date due will be stamped on a slip in the back of the book.
Serials (journals, magazines, and newspapers) and reference books do not circulate. Fines are imposed for overdue items.
Laptops are loaned to borrowers for 3 hours.
Renewals for laptops are available.
Laptops must remain in the Library during the checkout period.

2. These laptops cannot be reserved in advance.
3. The intentional down-loading unauthorized software onto these laptops is forbidden.

A) You assume financial responsibility for the laptop and its accessories
B) You are using this laptop for academic and research purposes
C) You will return the laptop and its accessories to Circulation when due
