Loan periods for books
Books, including some government publications, are loaned to undergraduates and RI Residents for 28 days.
Faculty and staff and graduate students receive a 120-day loan.
Charge-out procedures for books
The book(s) to be borrowed and a validated University ID card or a Rhode Island Resident Card are given to the circulation attendant who charges the book out. The date due will be stamped on a slip in the back of the book.
Fines are imposed for overdue items.
Serials (journals, magazines, and newspapers) and reference books do not circulate.
