Returning Books, Search Requests, Recall Books
Returning Books
Books may be returned either to the Circulation Desk or placed in the book drop located to the left of the front doors of the Library.
Search Requests
Searches for books not found in the stacks or on the temporary book shelves may be requested by completing a book request card at the Circulation Desk. When the book becomes available, it will be held at the Circulation Desk for ten days and the person requesting it will be notified.
Recall Books
Books that are checked out may be requested by either another URI patron. When a book has been recalled, it must be returned to a staff member at the Circulation Desk by the due date on the recall notice. A fine of $3.00 per day is charged for overdue recalled books.
